RSO and why? Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) is also known as Phoenix Tears. RSO has been claimed as a cure all medicine ever since it was created, although there hasn’t been solid proof backing that statement up there is conclusive evidence about one role cannabis can play in treating cancer: palliative care. Chemotherapy causes nausea and vomiting and consuming cannabis products like RSO are an effective treatment of those side effects according to the National Academies.
How to take RSO/Phoenix Tears?
Phoenix Tears are intended to be taken orally, ingested, since its super strong bitter taste you can mix with juices/liquids or foods. Dosage recommendations say that a blob the size of a grain of rice is plenty for most people, obviously if you’ve been taking this product before you know how much is good. When ingested its the same idea as edibles in the fact that it can take up to two hours for you to feel lots peak effects and because this is such a concentrated product the effects will be stronger and longer lasted than smoking flower itself. You can also dab RSO and vape but when heated in theory you lose some of the strength since it gets “cooked” off. Overall we recommend taking it orally.
Is RSO for me?
If you’re suffering from chronic pain, inflammation, nausea, insomnia and or just needing to keep yourself medicated this will do the job. Please keep in mind that this is a very concentrated product and to start with smaller dosages till you find out the right amount to take.
